I was driving on a busy highway in the mountains with blue sky’s and multiple cars on the road. I was texting on my phone and all at the same time I left myself hit something and saw a women in a royal blue coat and Amber hair and felt extreme guilt that I hit her in the middle of the road while I was on my phone and also had a feeling I deserved this and that I did something terrible because I was texting and driving. I was terrified and for a moment thought maybe I don’t have to stop. I looked in my rear view mirror and saw another accident pulled over in the righthand side of the road and people were on stretchers and there was blood. I thought that this woman in the middle of the highway must have been outside due to another accident. I felt extreme fear and guilt and scared. I went to pull the car over on the righthand side of the highway to face the damage and shame. Then I woke up feeling extremely uncomfortable but felt a relief that everything was going to be ok even if I did do something terrible like commit man slaughter from texting and driving. While waking up and in between being fully awake I saw a doll like woman with purple eyes, porcelain skin, and light brown hair.
Dreams often reflect our subconscious thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Your dream seems to encompass multiple themes, including guilt, responsibility, fear, and the potential consequences of your actions.
Driving and Control: Driving in a dream often symbolizes how you navigate your life. The busy highway suggests you might be feeling a sense of urgency or pressure in your daily life, especially with multiple distractions (represented by texting).
Texting While Driving: This specific act in the dream can represent feelings of neglect or being overwhelmed. It may reflect a real-life situation where you feel divided in your attention or a fear of missing something important due to distractions.
The Woman in the Blue Coat: The encounter with the woman you hit could symbolize feelings of empathy or concern for others’ well-being. Her royal blue coat might suggest something significant about her or the situation—perhaps she represents an aspect of yourself or someone in your life you feel you’re neglecting or harming, whether intentionally or unintentionally.
Guilt and Responsibility: The intense feelings of guilt and fear you experienced in the dream may point to underlying anxieties about your choices and their impact on others. It’s possible that you're grappling with feelings of responsibility—either for something specific in your life or for broader societal issues.
Accident and Fear: The sight of the other accident with people on stretchers and the presence of blood could represent deep-seated fears regarding consequences. It might indicate that you’re worried about the repercussions of your actions or decisions impacting others.
Pulling Over: Your decision to pull over can symbolize your desire to face the consequences of your actions. Seeking to confront the damage and shame is significant—it may suggest that you're ready to acknowledge your mistakes and take responsibility.
Relief Upon Waking: Waking up feeling a sense of relief despite the discomfort may indicate a hope that even if you are facing guilt or fear in your waking life, there is a path to redemption or resolution.
The Doll-like Woman: This mysterious figure you saw as you transitioned to wakefulness could represent the fragile nature of life and innocence. Her unusual appearance might signify something or someone that requires careful handling or understanding in your life.
Overall, your dream seems to be exploring themes of accountability, the effects of distraction in your life, and a struggle between guilt and the desire for redemption. Consider reflecting on any current situations where you feel divided in your attention or where your actions might impact others, and explore ways to address those feelings constructively.
